Ynni Anafon Energy
The Anafon Hydro Scheme is the most recent community venture in Abergwyngregyn. Water from the Anafon valley high in the Carneddau mountains is piped down the mountainside and used to power a generator before it is returned to the river.
Dwr Anafon
Dwr Anafon is the charity set up to distribute the disposable profits from the Ynni Anafon Energy scheme for community benefit.
Community Council
The Community Council actively supports the initiatives of the Abergwyngregyn Regeneration Company and the Aber Heritage Valley Partnership to improve the quality of life for all who live in the village, to enhance the experience of visitors and to protect the valley’s heritage and natural beauty.
