The Aber Falls are one of the most visited natural sights in North Wales, and the walk from either the free car park at the bottom of the village, or from the paying car parks nearer to the Falls takes about 2-2.5 hours for the round trip. If you use the village car park you can enter the village through a small visitor centre at Ty Pwmp and then proceed along the village road passing on your left what was once an old mill (Yr Hen Felin).
Continue walking along the road which lies close to the Afon Aber until you reach the Aber Falls car park. From here a well signed footpath leads up the valley to the falls.
Should you use a car to this point there is another car parking area found by turning left over the bridge and then right. A fee of £5 is charged at both car parks.
The path is well maintained, and ascends gradually to reach the falls.
The usual way back is to return the way you came.
